Hotel Valamar Meteor

The reconstruction and renovation of the internal facilities and external spaces of the hotel took place in several phases from 2019 to 2021. The renovation included accommodation units as well as all internal and external public areas.

A very cautious approach was necessary, as Hotel Meteor is one of the emblematic projects by the renowned Croatian hotel architect Ante Rožić. It was essential to preserve and highlight the value and potential of the existing spatial characteristics.

The renovation included refurbishment and redesign of the main restaurant , accommodation units , reception area, lobby bar, conference area, indoor pool, wellness facilities and complex of new outdoor pools. The hotel is newly positioned in the market as family-oriented so the new children's club was incorporated. The club offers a variety of activities for a wide range of young people, from toddlers to teenagers. As part of the project, the external entrance area with vehicular access was reconstructed.

The common theme of all project solutions is appropriate restraint and an effort to achieve new quality and modern spaces through a rational, refined approach while respecting the recognized values of the existing architecture.
